Wheel Throwing Lessons

Price And Requirements:

• 40€ for one person.

• 35€ per person if two people participate

• 2 people max.

• Participants must be aged 12 or above.

• Short nails.

• English or Greek Language.

Duration of Class: 60 minutes.

*Keep in mind if you don't stay for another 7-10 days after our lesson takes place then the things we'll make won't be baked in time for you to take back home. If you're interested in taking the lesson regardless just for the experience you can also do that!

Class Description

The wheel throwing course is ideal for total beginners! The class will start with a brief introduction to wheel throwing and its basic techniques and principals. After that we will guide you through the lesson in order to create a basic form( a little bowl, a cup or a plate etc.). The items you made will be ready after 7-10 days and will be unglazed. In case you want them glazed you can either arrange for a painting lesson and paint them yourself however you like or we can also put a plain transparent glaze for you  with an additional cost of 10€ per piece.(keep in mind the glazing will take an extra 2-3 days.)

*In case you are more advanced on wheel throwing and you would like to practice on something else please be sure to mention it in an e-mail beforehand.

Painting Lessons

Price And Requirements:

• 35€ per person for 1-3 people

• 25€  per person for 4-6 people(6 people max)

• Participants must be aged 12 or above.

• English or Greek Language.

Duration of Class: 60 minutes.

Class Description

The painting lessons are ideal for both beginners and experienced painters!  In the beginning of the class we will give you a brief introduction to the colors and also demonstrate some easy to use techniques that we also use to paint our pottery. After the introduction you will be able to either choose an item we have already baked once(usually a mug, a cup or a bowl) and paint it or, you can decorate a piece you previously made in a wheel-throwing class. After the class is over we will also give you a brief(optional)tour to our studio and facilities and explain the process of pottery making. Your items will be glazed and fired and will be ready for you to pick up 2-3 days after the class.

*More pieces may be bought to paint during the lesson for an additional cost(10€  per extra piece)

*In case your item breaks during firing don’t worry! We will provide you with another equivalent piece(if possible) from our store!
